Terms of Service

The rules of the road for using Mewse.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Mewse (mewse.ai), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Mewse. These Terms apply to all users of Mewse, including free users and paid subscribers.

2. About Mewse

Mewse is an AI-powered hook generation tool for short-form video creators. We take your ideas, product descriptions, or topic prompts and generate engagement-optimized hooks for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form video platforms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Mewse. If you are under 16, do not use Mewse. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Mewse complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

4. Account & Subscription

Mewse offers the following subscription plans:

Pro Monthly — $39/month, billed monthly
Pro Yearly — $31/month ($372/year), billed annually

Subscriptions are processed via Stripe. You authorize Stripe to charge your payment method for the subscription amount on a recurring basis until you cancel. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Refunds: All payments are final unless there is a billing error. Contact mewse@polsia.app for billing issues.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use Mewse to:

Generate content that is unlawful, harmful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or sexually explicit
Generate content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
Create content designed to deceive or manipulate people (e.g., deepfakes, misinformation)
Spam or mass-generate low-quality content purely for SEO manipulation
Resell or redistribute Mewse's AI-generated content as a standalone product
Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or clone the Mewse service
Use automated bots or scrapers to access Mewse without authorization

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Content Ownership

You Own Your Content

Here's the important part: you retain full ownership of both your original ideas and all hooks generated by Mewse for you.

When you submit a hook idea or prompt to Mewse, you keep all rights to that original content. When Mewse generates hooks based on your input, those generated hooks are yours to use however you like — edit, post, monetize, trademark, whatever you want.

We (Polsia Inc.) claim no ownership, no rights, no licenses to your content. Use it freely.

That said, by using Mewse you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your inputs through our AI to generate your outputs. That's it.

7. AI Content Disclaimer

Mewse generates content using AI (powered by OpenAI). While we quality-score every hook, we cannot guarantee that AI-generated content will perform well, be accurate, or be suitable for your audience. Use your own judgment. Mewse is a creative tool — you are the creator.

We do not warrant that generated hooks will not contain errors, biases, or inadvertently similar content to existing works. You are responsible for reviewing and editing generated content before publishing.

8. Limitation of Liability

Mewse is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Mewse
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
We are not liable for content you post after generating it with Mewse — including any copyright claims, platform bans, or audience backlash

9. Service Availability

Mewse strives for high uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance or experience outages. We are not liable for downtime or service interruptions. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance.

10. Intellectual Property

The Mewse name, logo, design, and all proprietary technology are owned by Polsia Inc. You may not use our branding without written permission. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Generated hooks are not automatically protected by copyright — content creation and protection is your responsibility.

11. Privacy

Your use of Mewse is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Mewse, you consent to our data practices as described in that policy.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we deem harmful. Upon termination, your right to use Mewse ceases immediately. We are not obligated to provide refunds for unused subscription time.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Mewse after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Delaware.
